2005 Honda CRV fuel mileage droped after injection cleaning

I have 2005 Honda CRV and went for a fuel injection cleaning. After the cleaning, my car runs good but my car is eating way too much gas then before cleaning the fuel injectors.

Any reason why? Also, are there any side-effects of fuel injection cleaning?

The problem with injection cleaning is half the time it doesn't work-whatever got dislodged in there reposition itself somewhere causing clogging. The same talking with auto transmission flushing.
