I admit I don't use my cruise control that often- usually just on long trips. It was on one of these types of drives that I tried to engage the cruise control and just couldn't get a response (no warning lights indicating a problem).
Could you give me an estimate on what it would cost to repair the cruise control? I don't use it much but sure missed it when I wanted it.

Hi cintikel,

It would be impossible to quote a price without understanding what is wrong.

Does the cruise control main switch illuminates when turned ON? If yes, the problem could be a faulty or out of adjustment brake pedal switch, cruise control unit or wiring, blown fuse.

No, I get no response when I press the "on" button for Cruise Control (on the steering wheel) and would normally get a small lit icon on the dash if it was operating.
All the other electrical features on the car are operating just fine as far as I can tell.
Worse case scenario and how much that might cost?

Main switch is on dash, does the light come on when switch is turned ON?

The most expensie part is the cruise control actuator, $404.20. This part seldom fails and to correctly diagnose the problem, testings have to be carried out.
