Somethin weid happing with my engine

Hi guys this is my first time being on this site and it look like it would help me in the furture with my stuff but yeah I have a qustion. I just but a new intake system in my honda civic 1991 hatchback si. And it running graet but I problem. When im at a stop sign or light and I sit there (my car is Manually) and my rpm needle would go down then back up and back down and back up. I can feel my engine doing that. What is that and what can I do to fix it?

If you just put a new intake in or messed with the intake, did you put a new gasket on. If so did you get the entire old gasket off? The surging that the engine is doing is the computer trying to compensate fuel to the extra flow of air leaking at the intake gasket. I would bet that is your problem.
