Engine Performance problem
2009 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 2800KM miles

I bought new honda civic 2009 two months ago. After 1st service at 1000 km, one day I noticed the flashing of the low oil pressure indicator, and some noise from the engine, I stopped the car and called the dealer, they came and towed the car. By that time it has run only 2800 km. After inspection they told me that one of the engine oil seals have leaked due to which this leak is there. Whcih they will change and it will be o.K. But they dont have the seal, so thay have ordered from japan. They are saying this is a common problem and it happens generally.
I want to know Is this a common problem or there is some thing more serious and which had an affect on the engine in the long run.
Please suggest what should I do?
I am in Oman.

Hi there, with out knowing which seal is faulty I don't know what to make of there response, I would not think that they would have to send away to Japan for what they say is a common fault, this is a bit strange, I would question them as to why they don't keep these seals, and as it is a warranty repair you will have coverage if this problem continues, I do''t expect that you will have any more problems.
