In order to install new brake pads, I am trying to compress the piston in on the rear caliper without success. Seems like it is stuck and the caliper is not seized. Is there another way of compressing the piston?

Thank you.

Hi ald123,

To return the piston to the caliper housing, you have to turn it clockwise and pressing in slightly with the aid of a special tool. However a long nose plier would work if you use it to grip the slots and twist it in. If that fails, you would have to get the tool from parts store, some do provide loan services. This video will show you how
