My srs light came on and stays, the dealer says the code that came up says the seat belt buckle requires replacement, est $355.00 +tax. Is this right or is there anything cheaper to fix this thanx for your time. John

HI there,

There is no alternative to this repair, if this is the code set then the buckle will have to be replaced, you should never use second hand parts in this case as you don't know if they have been stressed, fit the new parts and be safe.
