I was driving right now and noticed my radio kept turning off. Then noticed my peodometer was off, none of my gauges were working, turn signals were dim, no fan, wipers and windows were very weak. Drove back home, no problems with the motor. Parked and then tried to turn the car back on and it was dead. Wouldn't even try to turn over. My SRS light (which has been on for a bit) was still very brightly lit though. Alternator? I've had one go out on my before and it just killed the entire car asap.

Hi agarcia25,

Thank you for the donation.

Yes, the symptoms indicates a faut with the charging system and it could be the alternator or its related circuit.

Get a jump start and if it works, test the charging rate.

Yes, that is advisable.

A voltmeter to test the charging rate and battery condition would be requuired if you are able to start the vehicle.
