What do you mean the speedometer is off? Is it off my a certain amount of mileage when compared to a GPS unit? Or is the speedometer totally not functioning?
Check your VSS (Vehicle speed sensor) for power, ground and signal. If there is no signal coming from the VSS, then it is faulty.
