When I frist drive my car and I accelerate it makes a clicking noise. But it goes away once the car is warmed up. What is that? It almost sounds like a CV joint, but only happens when I accelerate after first starting the car. Thanks!

Hi there, thank you for the donation,

Do you feel that this noise is constant with road speed or engine speed?

I would say engine speed. It's not constant only when I first start up my car and I drive. I'm usually only going about 10-15 mph for about 5 minutes before I hit the road. After that I don't hear it.

Hi there,

I would be checking that the engine vale clearances are correct, as you feel that it may be with engine speed, I would be looking here first.
