ok I blew a head gasket on my 2000 si honda civic. After I got the car back the mechanic told me that while he was putting on the arp head studs that he had stripped two wholes in the block. The rest are in tight. I was just wondering if this is what is causing my car to leak oil by the head and the valve cover. He said only the two front studs are not as tight as sopposed to be.

Hi there,

this is the reason why it is leaking, I would say that the mechanic has over tensioned these bolts, it is his responsibility to repair this error with out cost to you, he should have never returned the car in this state.
