2000 Honda Civic my air condition is not work good I mean I

1st you can ck. The knob for hot/cold control. Pull it straight off & look in the center @ the 1/2 moon shape, sometimes they break. Then check the cable. Under the hood, locate the hot/cold valve where the hoses come through the firewall from the heater core. Disconnect the cable there then have a helper hold that end while you turn control knob & make sure it moves in & out freely. Then check the lever on the valve assembly in the hose & make sure it goes back & forth easy. The lever only moves 1/4 turn. If all that is good, you may need someone to check the A/C t-stat inside evaporater assembly.
