My windows are not power windows, they are the manual ones with the handle. Three years ago the driver side window rotator (inside the door) broke. I paid $200 then. A year ago it broke again, I was then told that these are plastic made and break easy, I paid another $200. Now the passenger side is broken. Is there a way to convert these to power windows, and what might the cost be? I don't want to keep investing $200 every other year, and I'd like for my son to be able to use this car in a couple of years. The mechanics are all in excellent condition, except for the windows. Please help!

To convert to power windows, it will roughly cost $500 or more.

You'd have to purchase new door panels as well (from the junkyards) and that might be tough to find in good shape.

IMO, it's not worth it.
