2000 Honda Civic Acceleration

Hi I just bought my Honda Civic ex year 2000, I noticed a slight problem with it, when I push on the accelerator just a little it accelerates immediatly and works fine, but when I floor it, it stalls for a second or 2 before it starts accelerating, it feels real sluggish when I floor it. What could the problem be?

Hi aymana21,

There are many possible answers for this problem.

1. Bad spark plugs, wires or lrelated parts.
2. Clogged fuel filter.
3. Fuel pressure below specification.
