1999 Honda Civic Shaking

Whenever my AC runs for 30-40 minutes, my car begins to shake or jump as if it will cut off. It does this for 5-10 minutes, then stops. It hasn't cut off yet, though. What could be the cause of this?

Hi macontamty,

I suspect the idling speed is the cause of this.

You can try cleaning the throttle body and Intake Air Control valve and see if it helps. The shaking should be due to the compressor cutting in or out changing the engine idling speed.
