Transmission problem

Hi,

I had to replace my transmission because it was going out. Now, after doing the swap, I sometimes can't get into first gear when the car is running. If the car isn't running, I can shift into first gear everytime. Also, there seems to some noise coming from the clutch area that wasn't there before. Finally, I don't know if this will help, but my speedometer jumps around, not to drastic, make up and down by 2 mph.

Sounds like you have a hydraulic clutch issue (why you can't get it into first) Check the fluid, if it is low, you have a leak either at the slave cylinder or master cylinder

I checked my fluid level on master cylinder and it was fine, but is it possible that the slave cylinder is still messed up?
