1998 Honda Civic my engine keep turning off

My engine keep turning off recently and it seems the rpm want to run almost under 1000 rpm but I changed the spark plugs it is the right move I make or is it another problem?Thank you

Hi poulet34,

The idling speed at operating temperature is 700, 1,000 is too high.

If the engine tends to stall at below 1000 rpm, you need to check
1. Bad spark plugs, which you have already replaced.
2. Fuel pressure.
3. Valve clearance.
4. Fuel injectors.

Is the Check Engine Light showing?
