1998 Honda Civic Front end

My car makes a grinding noise when I turn the wheels hard one way or the other. It seems as if the front end "hums" when driving. Causes?

Hi humps33,

Seems the front wheel berarings are bad and you need to check them out. While driving in a straight line at about 40 mph and make a curved turn, if the noise level increases, the bearing is bad. Left turn = right bearing, vice versa.
