1997 Honda Civic radiator fan

I just recently noticed radiator fluid leaking. When I checked the level, it was empty. I waited for it to cool and added 50/50. It still has a slow drip. I noticed the fan did not run after it heated up. It was smoking a little. I turned on the airconditioning and the fan still doesn't move. What did I damage by letting my radiator fluid run out?

Coolant leaking will not break down the rad fan.

First fix your coolant leak. Sometimes it takes awhile for that fan to come on, especially if you are up north in the cold.
