1997 Honda Civic Hand Brake crises!

Hi, I own a 97 civic, stick shift and just recently bought it from a young man who did a brake conversion. The car has disks in the front and drums in the rear, he converted the rear drum brakes with integra disk brakes and did not set the E-brake back up. Will I ever be able to fix the Hand brake my self? I Need to know if it will be able to be done with parts from the junk yard or what, please let me know asap thank you.

Hi Geboo,

It is possible to get the handbrakes done up correctlyand the first thing you need to check would be the cables. If they are for the drum brakes, they would have to be replaced with ones suitable for the disc brakes and problem should be solved.
