1997 Honda Civic advice

I want to know what is the cause that makes my battery light go on in my car? It shows my battery on. I already replaced my battery, cable cord for negative and positive, and I have changed both the terminals.I don't know what else to do? Please let me know what to do.

When the charging warning indicator light (battery sign) comes on, it means the alternator is not charging and it could be due to worn carbons or internal faluts of the alternator
