THE SRS LIGHT ON THE DASH STAYS ON EVER SINCE THE CAR BATTERY DIED. EVEN AFTER I REPLACED THE BATTERY WITH A NEW ONE THE LIGHT STILL STAYS ON. IS THERE A SIMPLE WAY TO RESET THIS LIGHT?

Hi dawgs,

You need to find the SRS check connector at the underdash fuse box.

1. Loop service connector.
2. Turn ignition switch on.
3. SRS light should go off in 6 seconds.
4. Within 4 seconds, remove loop and plug in again.
5. SRS should blink 2 times to confirm reset is ok.
6. Turn Ignition switch off.
7. Wait 10 seconds before starting.

Note. If after step 4 and the light remains on, repeat process again. If it does not work, you need a scan to find out the cause.
