Hi, I have a question about my car transmission. Firstable, suddenly my km indicator started to jump from 20-220 km by it self. Second, sometimes when I drive, the car starts shaking and the engine almost turns off. I wonder if this problem comming from the transmission. I changed the trasmission oil, engine oil, added stop leak for both of them. I also changed wires and sparks. Now the problem was reduced, and it starts only when I stop on the red light or stop sign. If you have any idea about it let me know, and I will be very very happy if you find any solutions.
Thankyou very much on advance.
Vadim.

Hi vdk777,

Your symptoms seems to be coming from the speed sensor. A faulty speed sensor would indicate erractic speedometer reading and the odometer would not cumulate correctly too plus it would cause engine to stall during idling and also affect engine performances.

Get a scan done to find out if there are any error codes stored in the ECM.
