1996 Honda Civic Suddenly developed a loud throaty noise

My 1996 Honda Civic has been awesome. Two days ago it started making a loud "throaty" noise. Like it was trying to be some race car or something. I haven't noticed any performance difference but I drive it 100 miles per day on the highway and it gets loud!

What could it be? Time for a new muffler?

Exhaust system
front flex pipe and or muffler
need to have it checked

need manual CHECK IT @
