WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT TO PAY TO HAVE BOTH FRONT AXLES WITH NEW BOOTS REPLACED BY A CERTIFIED MECHANIC? THE RIGHT SIDE BOOT HAS RUPTURED, AND IS CURRENTLY MAKING A POPING NOISE. THESE ARE THE ORIGINAL AXLES, AND BOOTS. THANKS!

Hi dawgs,

There are a few different types of CV joints and you need to check which is applicable to your vehicle. Price range per axle shaft is between $330 to $390.
Book time for replacement is 1.3 hr per side, 2.4 hr for both.

If you wish to replace only the boots, price is Outer boot $50, Inner Boot $30 per piece.
Book time for outer or inner boot replacement per side is 1.8 hrs. Both boot replacement per shaft is 2.2 hrs.
