I took my car to have the oil changed and they told me my transmission seal was leaking and needed to be replaced but it would be expensive and we could pour some stop leak stuff in it, so I bought the stuff and poured it in but my car is still leaking transmission fluid and some times it doesnt want to shift. Does it need a whole new transmission? Is there a way to test the transmissionto see if its good?

No, you do not need a whole new transmission because it has a leaking seal.

Now, the fact that it doesn't want to shift worries me a bit. You may of ran low on transmission fluid and you have done some harm to your transmission. You will need to get it in to a shop so they can test your transmission to see if it is in good working shape.
