Air Conditioning problem
1995 Honda Civic 6 cyl Manual 260000 miles

I have a 1995 Honda Civic EX - 2 door - Standard. The A/C Shuts off whenever the car is idle. It works fine when I am driving a distance but if I'm at a stop light or in stop and go traffic it simply turns off and blows hot air. Can you tell me what is wrong with it?

Check if the condenser cooling fan is working.

What is the idling speed? If idling speed is too low, the compressor would not cut in.

Do you have overheating or coolant losses issues?
