What modifications can I make to my honda civic to make it more economical, e.G; k+n air filter vs cold air pod filter, 98 octane vs 91 octane, tuning ideas etc

Just do a tune-up and make sure it's in optimal running condition. Ensure the oxygen sensor is functioning properly. Use only the octane that is recommended for the vehicle.
