The car will start and idle for about 10 sec, and then it just dies. If you try to feed gas to keep it running in that 10 sec time frame, the car also dies too.
fuel pump - I checked fuel. Its definitely working. But I could be wrong, cause when I feed gas into it, the engine kind of bogged as if its suffocating and then dies.
IAC valve - I borrowed a buddy IAC valve from his running civic, and it didn't make a difference.

Could it be the map sensor on the throttle?
could it be a clog Catalytic converter?

I doubt its spark or ignition issues since the car start right away without hesitation.

I also have a chk engine which im not worry about. Its reading the o2 sensor. That's because I'm using a DX ECU and not a EX ECU. I doubt its the ECU cause its been running fine for the last 6 month until now.

The plan: take the converter out and have it idle on straight pipe and see if thats the issues. If that doesnt work, swap out the map sensor/fuel pump out and see if that work.
Please give me some pointer. Thanks!

Symptoms indicates it is more likely to be fuel related or the throttle position sensor. Have the TPS tested.

Check the MAP.

During cold start, is the engine running at a higher rpm ( cold start feature)?

Check the PGM-FI main relay. It can fail intermittently due to bad joints. Resoldering the joints on circuit board would work.

As to the MIL indicating, recheck if there are any other codes.

If it is the cata;lytic converter, it has to be plugged rather badly to cause stalling during idling.
