My speedometer doesn't work.

Hello,

Check the vehicle speed sensor (VSS). It is located on the top of the transmission housing.
This sensor reads the rotation of the transmission shaft and sends that information to the ECM, which gets translated into the speed that gets displayed on the gauge.

Inoperative speedometer can be due to a faulty VSS but is can also be a loose connection or corroded terminals.
First make sure that the VSS is secured, the connector is clean and corrosion free.
