I just bought the car a few weeks ago. Its got a rebuilt motor with about 20k on it. Ive replaced the starter and the distributor. After I replaced the dizzy it now idles at around 2000 rpm. When in third gear crusin and I let off for about five seconds and give it no more than 1/4 throttle it will hesitate like its not getting fuel. Also when I dump the gas and get into the top of my rpms it blows out what looks like white smoke. My coolant is overflowing through the cap to but doesnt get above halfway on the temp gauge. Ive cleaned the throttle body, intake manifold, idle air control valve and the fast idle thermo valve. Now im lost at what to do. Maybe a compression test?
