Honda idle control valve replacement

With a 1998 honda civic dx hatchback. Must a honda dealer replace the idle control value. Or can anyone? I.E. Must it be reprogrammed?

Anyone can. You just need to re-learn your idle afterwards. All this means, is you must let the vehicle idle for roughly 15 minutes without touching the throttle. That is all.
