the car turned on fine and while we were driving the car radio started to turn off and on and then the lights started to dimm and then when I put the car on park it turned off and wont turn back on

Hi hanna467,

Seems the charging system is faulty.
Check/test the alternator charging rate with a voltmeter.

The battery should be weak now, get it tested/charged first.
