1992 Honda Civic Rattles noises

We bought a car and this car makes rattles and it's noisy. When you start it and drive it rattles like something is broken inside it. I know this is kinda vague description. Trust me I find hard to explain. It could be any number things. Thank you.=/

It is most likey an exhaust heat shield. Get underneath the vehicle and hit the exhaust with the palm of your hand. If you hear any grinding and banging, something is loose or hitting.

There was a piece of metal from the car that had come off and was there awhile before we even bought this car. It now being fixed. Thank you sooo much for your help.
