1992 Honda Civic 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 125, 00 miles

I have a 92 honda civic and it wont start. I have changed the fuel filter, fuel pump and the complete distributor with ignition module. There is spark and the fuel seems to have good presure. It was at a mechanic for 2 weeks but being the battery went dead he was unable to check for any codes. Then other than him just replacing parts he was not sure what was wrong. The car has now been sitting for a month and I really need to get it going.

What would you suggest trying next? It does crank but wont fire.

Could be a problem with valve and ignition timing have him check the timing belt and the aligment of the camshaft and crankshaft sprockets.
