1992 Honda Civic Battery is new but loses charge and car st

Battery loses charge, is it the altinator and if so is it easier to remove from under the car?

battery is new by the way

The only way to tell is have the alternator output checked-the battery might be new but is it taking the charge, also could be an electrical short within the systems and draining out the battery.
