1991 Honda Civic Engine won't catch right away and stereo

I got my timing belt replaced today, and after driving it arounda little, the car stereo started turning off for a couple seconds and then turning back on frequently while driving, and after I had stopped and tried to turn my engine back on, it took a couple tries to catch and start.

When the radio war turning on and off, was there any difference in the engine performance?

When the ignition switch was turned on and while cranking, were the dash indicator lights showing?
