I am experiencing problems with my 03 honda civic. The problem is that the driver side door will not lock when I press the switch. Furthermore, it refuses to lock when I press the alarm "lock" button. Additionally, when I stick my key inside of the keyhole, again on the driver's side, it will not turn for me to unlock the door. Any possible solutions?

Sounds like you have a mechanicl failure with either the lock cylinder or the latching mechanism. You might want to start by taking off the door panel and checking to see if any of the rods are jammed or disconnected and sticking somewhere.
