My 1993 Accord ex pulses, over heating

I have a new thermostat, my radiator is still good I have coolant in my radiator but it still over heats. My car pulses. Turn the idle up or down it still pulses. Lately when I press the gas it sounds fluttery. It will only go to about 30 mph. Whats wrong with my car? MAKE-HONDA ACCORDMODEL-EX---YEAR-1993MILEAGE-1681892ENGINE SIZE-2.2L.

Rad Cap, blown headgasket-and something that makes the engine works hard. Also try the catalytic converter for no power.
