Honda Accord 97 AC Not working

I have a Honda accord 97 with 127,000 miles. For last three days, if I turn on the AC, Heat indicator goes high. If I turn off the AC, it is good. I checked my coolant and it seems I have enough. I also added some. Also, while AC is on, if I stop the car on red light or on stop sign, I starts shaking a bit. My guess is it is the AC Fan which is not working properly. Please explain. Thanks.

Ok, I am assuming that the condensor fan is not running when you turn on the a/c. Check the Condensor Fan 20 amp Fuse in the Under hood fuse/relay box. If the fuse is good, then check for voltage on pin 2 of the condensor fan while the a/c is running. If you have power, then your fan is bad, or you have a bad ground. Check for a ground on pin 1 to eliminate that.
If you do not have power, then it could be the Condensor Fan relay, or the possibly the Engine Coolant Temperature Switch. This is located over the transmission.

I want to thank you for the answer. I am really novice about the car. Another thing I noticed is that, the engine temparature goes high when I am driving slow or stopping frequently. When I am driving on the highway, Engine temparatue is good. I do not have any problem at all regarding my AC. It is working fine. I only have problem with engine temparature. Please help. Thanks.

Thanks again. I checked the fuse and it seems good. The fuse is 15 amp in honda accord 97 if I am not mistaken. I do not know how to check the voltage on pin 2 or 1. I dont know where the pins are. Could any one help? Thanks again.

The condesor fan has a plug. You will need to disconnect the plug, and look to see which pin is 1 and which is 2.

In honda accord 97, if any of the relay goes bad, isnt it suppose to turn on the check sign of the car? Thanks again.
