1996 Accord, plastic headlight lens covers are dulled and opaque I want to remove them for polishing. Can I do this without removing the entire assembly?
I tried prying the cover from the upper clips but it won't budge.

I polished the lenses on my daughters Acura w/o removing them. I used a product called PlastiX, made by Meguirs. I found it at Autozone. Easy and works great. Her's were really yellow.

. Assuming the headlights are removed from the vehicle. You can bake them in an oven at about 200 degrees until the sealant loosens up (maybe about half hour or so) and then you can pry them apart, but as long as there isn't a problem with moisture buildup, then you shouldn't have to do that. Like Ted said, an OTC polisher should work pretty well.
