Booming Accord problems

You need to visually inspect your cars exhaust before taking it to repair place. The car has a tailpipe, muffler, (could be more than one), exhaust pipe, a resonator, more pipe, catalytic convertor, and finally an exhaust manifold. Look them over, go online or call an auto parts dealer. The entire system would run you $1000 plus labor. They are broken into smaller pieces that can be replaced but you need to know what needs to be replaced. I would want to know what so that they don't tell me to replace more than is necessary.
