2003 Honda Accord wiper motor

I installed a new wiper motor on my 2003 accord and now my wipers start in the up position and go down. When I turn them off they stop in the up position

You will have to align them correctly. Proper timing is a must for good operation. Turn off the engine and wiper switch. To time their closing action you only need to open the hood, find the nut cap (It's plastic & looks like a cap nut.) Loosen the nut on the wiper arms on each side. Push the wiper blades down. Now tighten both nuts and put the caps back on. Test the operation.
