Hi Daniel_McNamar,

I am not sure what you are referring to by unlocking the seat belts.

Can you describe what you are experiencing so I can understand the problem?

The seat belts locked after a front end collision. Like when you hit the brakes too hard. Only now, they won't unlock. I can't pull them out to fasten them. They're stuck fully retracted.

The seat belt have an inertia mechanisms to lock the belts. Guess this could be the cause of the problem.

There are no reset procedures. Park the vehicle on a level ground and tug at the belt gently to allow the inertia mechanism to release. That is the oly way and if it faisl, you would have to remove the seat belt holder to repeat the process. If all fails, the belt assy has to be replaced.

Tugging and releasing gently would work if the mechanism are not damaged internally.

Good luck.
