This issue is an intermittent one where after a cold start and after 2-3 follow-on starts at hot temperature. The engine will start but stall. I can start it again and rev the idle to keep it running but as soon as I put it in gear it shuts off. After repeating this a few times I can get it to run rough then it smooths out and runs fine until after another cold start. When I hook it up to diagnostics it indicates miss fire on all of the cylinder. I have replaced 3 of the 6 coil packs but I still get the same symptom. Like I indicated, it seems to happen after the engine is hot and after 2-3 stops and restarts. I have also replaced the Main Relay, but still occurs. Any ideas?

Hi newb435,

If all the cylinders are misfiring, it could be fuel related and since it happens only at operating temperature, the Engine Coolant Temperature should be tested for correct readings. An inaccurate ECT can cause fuel metering faults which would cause misfiring.

Thanks for adding that. I assume you were showing what the ECT looks like? If so, we really appreciate the addition to the post. Thanks for helping to make the site better.
