Recently my car has been having trouble starting when it is cold out side. I have to keep my foot on the gas to get it to start and once it does the idle is almost at zero. It won't die once it does start and when it is warm has no problem starting. Also sometimes when I stop at a light or stop sign the idle will drop low and the rev back up to the 1000RPM level. Any ideas?

Hi drknight21,

Get the fuel pressure checked. The fuel filter is known to leak and when stopped for prolonged period, fuel pressure drops resulting in difficult starting.

If the Check Engine Lamp is not indicating, get the throttle body and IAC cleaned, idling speed could be too low due to air flow restriction.

Check the valve clearances as well. Insufficient clearance would cause erratic idling.
