2000 Accord Common Elec. Problems?

I have a 2000 Accord EX and the battery keeps dieing. I was curious if anyone knew of some common problems or things I could look for. I have not had any problems with this vehicle otherwise and it seems to have just started on its own.

Original battery? Could be the age of the battery giving up. Cables could be loose and corroded thus not allowing a good charge to the battery. After that the charging system could be the problem.
