Transmission problem
1998 Honda Accord 4 cyl Automatic

the 2nd and 3rd gears on my car gave out, the mechanic is trying to tell me that it was because the first time the transmission gave out and was rebuilt the cylinoids were not replaced is he correct?

Hi there,

This mechanic must have X-ray vision, if he can make a diagnose or a failed auto with out first inspecting it internally. I would be getting a second opinion.
