1997 Honda Accord Wont start

Do you hear the fuel pump come On when you turn key to run?

Fuel pump could be burned-up -check the fuel pressure if its within specs.

Its sounds like its on the verge of catching when I try to start it and it sputters like its out of gas. I've tried turning the key without starting it several times before I try to start it but thats not working.

If you can hear the fuel pump-check the fuel pressure with gauge might not be producing the correct fuel pressure-could be very well be the fuel filter is clogged-up

Thanks I'll try that. Its past due for replacement anyway.
