1997 Honda Accord Steering is rough

Steering problem
1997 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 84, xxx miles

To whom it may concern:
I just had my rotors and brakes changed and couple days later I notice that the steering is rough and there is a noise coming from the left side wheel. I ask the mechanic and he said that the power steering pump is bad. What do you recommed me to do. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi there,

Have the L/H/ Side steering and suspension and brakes inspected as something may have been left loose. The pump will not nesecarilly cause a noise in the wheel area, But if the pump was failing or low on fluid, you would feel a tugging sensation in the steering as the pressure in the hydraulics failed. You could also hear a whining noise from the pump.
