1996 Honda Accord

I have a Honda Accord 96 ex. It's making noises when the engine is on and when I am driving. I notice that the bottle that contains power steering wheel fluid is boiling when the engine is on. Is the power steering pump broken (not working) and thus making noises?

Hi traigiacali,

If the power steering is not working, the steering will be very heavy when the car is stationary.

Most probably there is not enough fluid in the system.

Check PS fluid level with engine off. Allow foams to settle first.
